111 with transporter wagons
GFM railcar 111 passes the halt at Les Marches and approaches the viaduct over the Sarine on its way to Broc Fabrique with a mixed train. The standard-gauge wagons on metre-gauge transporters are heading for the Cailler chocolate factory.
On my 0m (1:45 scale) model it’s always springtime in the early 1980’s. There’s plenty more to add to the model here but it’s starting to look the part.
Railcar 111 (built in 1903) is now preserved by GFM Historique and was used on the real Broc branch during the centenary celebrations in June 2012 - see some of my other photos on Flickr !
The railcar and flat wagon are entirely scratchbuilt, the transporter wagons are modified Henke kits, and the standard-gauge wagons are from Allmo and Lima with many added details.
